Falling in Love

I don’t like when people say that they “fell in love”. That phrase makes it sound passive. Just like you don’t chose to stumble in your gait, it makes it seem like love was involuntary, that you didn’t select to feel that way. That’s inaccurate. It doesn’t reflect what love truly is. Love is an act. It’s that feeling that you get when you wake up next to that girl and you realize that she’s not just another person in your life. The consciousness to say that you’d gladly put your dreams and hopes on hold for her. That knowledge that she’s the most important thing you’ve ever had. The choice of putting aside everything you hold dear to be near her, to give her your full attention at every second. The hope that you’ll get to spend your life with her in your arms. Love is very much active. Love is a choice. Love is an act.

This is a great article for all of those wondering why we would love to have A&M join our conference.

Now, Baylor… stop acting like children.

All I really get out of that is that LSU will have another rival in the conference. Hooray.

So unhappy about this. :(

The whole SEC benefits from this. Opening us up to a huge market like Texas only means more money to go around. Plus, A&M is a quality team, and a quality school with a lot of money. It’s really an all-around positive.

But yeah, beating A&M into the ground every year will definitely be a huge plus.

I’m sure they’ll add someone to the East or someone else to the West, in which case Auburn is most likely to move — either way, Auburn will probably win, too.

LSU beats Oregon. What an amazing game. It’s great to see such a good LSU team, especially in a top 5 matchup against a really good team we wouldn’t otherwise play and especially in the JerryDome — that’s one beautiful stadium.

The game was great. Although it wasn’t Tiger Stadium, I was surrounded by students who were screaming as loud as I was. It was exhilarating.

This was my first away game and I hope it’s not my last. LSU fans are the best in the world.

Also: SEC, baby!
